Day By Day Itinerary

Day 01 Arrive in Delhi
Arrive Delhi - The Capital of India. You are greeted with a traditional Indian Welcome and escorted transfer to hotel

Day 02 Amazing Delhi
Start the day with Old Delhi was an ancient walled city. Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in 1650 switched the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi. Here you will view Red Fort, the most Opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire. Rickshaw puller ride through  Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colorful market of the old city.
New Delhi Lutyens designed an "Imperial City" having Palatial-sized buildings set amid broad tree-lined avenues punctuated by Mughal style gardens, complete with fountains and shallow pools. Visit to Qutub Minar. Drive pass through the Raisina Hill, past the imposing India Gate and Parliament House.  Evening return to the Red Fort to watch the “Son et Lumire” show which is Interplay of colorful lights and sound tracing the history of monument till date. Day 03 Delhi - Agra 200 kms /3.30 hrs
After early breakfast drive to Agra - At the time of the Mughal, in the 16th & 17th centuries, Agra was the capital of the grand Mughal Empire.  Arrive Agra and check in hotel. Afternoon visit to Agra Fort built by Akbar the Great and the city. Also visit the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah built by Empress Noor Jehan in the memory of Her Father. Enjoy the Magnificent Taj Mahal – The Monument of Love in the warm glow of Sunset, which was built in 1630 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631, and is believed to have taken 18 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen working around the clock. Its marble exterior reflects rose and golden tints at sunrise and sunset, while it is dazzling white during the day.

Day 04 Agra - Jaipur 232 kms / 5 hrs
Drive to Jaipur via visit the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri, built in 1569 by the Great Emperor Akbar. Today, it is deserted and left in solitude to reminisce over its past glory. On today’s drive to Jaipur through the Rajasthani countryside we see villages, woman dressed in the brilliantly colored saris of the region, Camels, Elephants & scenes of rural lives.

Day 05 In Jaipur
After breakfast, Journey back in time at deserted 17th century fortress of Amber Fort. 11 Kms. from Jaipur, Amber Fort is a marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. Go up the fort on the back of a gaily-caparisoned elephant true to the style of the Maharajas of the past. The interiors of the fort have various royal halls decorated with intricate ivory, mirror and glasswork complemented by exquisite wall paintings. As you will be move between the rooms of this magnificent structure you feel the history and visualize the pomp and grandeur of a kingdom never conquered. Later visit to shops. Afternoon venture back into the city tour: Visit the City Palace Museum where you can see an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal Art. The museum is resplendent with its collection of robes of royal princes, carpets, an armory of old weapons, miniature paintings portraying court scenes, battle scenes and processions, Also visit the awe inspiring Jantar Mantar (an accurate observatory built in 1726 AD). Also included is a photo visit at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five storied wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires

Day 06 Jaipur - Delhi 260 kms 5 hrs
Morning visit the 17th century fortress of Amber Fort - marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. Go up the fort ascended on Caparisoned Elephant true to the style of the Maharajas of the past. The interiors of the fort have various royal halls decorated with intricate ivory, mirror and glasswork complemented by exquisite wall paintings.

Day 07 Delhi – Srinagar Fly
This morning fly to Srinagar. Upon arrival you will be transfer to your Houseboat - This unique Kashmiri tradition of gracious waterside living originated with the first British residents of Kashmir. In order to prevent them from assuming power, the Maharaja of Kashmir forbade the British to own land; their solution was to build their residences on water, with the houseboats evolving from modest floating homes to veritable floating palaces. These hand-built houseboats, boasting all the deluxe amenities of are one of Srinagar’s stellar attractions. These enchanting residences range from 60 to 150 ft long are 15 to 20 ft. wide and each is unique. Remainder times are free for rest & relax. HOUSE BOAT.

Dy 08 In Srinagar
After breakfast half day tour of world-famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Adobe of Love). Return to Houseboat for hot lunch. In the afternoon Shikara Ride on the Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. You will get a view of some very interesting places around the Lake. In the evening return to houseboat.

Day 09 Srinagar – Gulmarg 56 kms / 1 hr
After breakfast day return excursion to Gulmarg, which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley? It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. One can have Gondola ride (Cable Car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. In the evening return to Houseboat.

Day 10 - 11 Gulmarg – Pahalgam 149 kms
After breakfast, leave from Gulmarg and drive to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (Vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields and Avantipur ruins which is eleven hundred years old temple. Finally, by the lunch time you will reach Pahalgam which is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. After lunch enjoy the nature charm of the valley. Your home for 2 nights at Hotel.

Day 12 Pahalgam - Srinagar 93 km – Delhi - Onward
After breakfast say good bye this fascinating God Gifted land in time drive back to Srinagar airport for fly to Delhi to connect the flight for onward destination
