DELHI | DISCOVERING THE OLD & THE NEW

After breakfast visit to Old Delhi was an ancient walled city. Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in 1650 switched the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi.  Shah Jehan possessing an exquisite talent, especially in architecture, created the seventh city and in the process brought about Delhi's glorious renaissance.  Here you will see Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire. The fort is Shah Jehan's symbol of power and legance, built behind red sandstone walls. Its main gate (Lahore Gate) faces Chandni Chowk, take a Cycle Rickshaw Puller Ride through the bustling and colorful market of the old city is filled with twisting lanes, small streets and crowded bazaars. If you peer through a portico you may see a man getting shaved, silver being weighed, or any other conceivable form of intense commerce. Remainder of the day is free for own activities or you can choose the Add on experiences.

Afternoon visit to New Delhi was designed and built by the British in the 1920's-it's a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green parks and gardens. In 1911 King George V announced the transfer of the capital from Calcutta to Delhi. The King's architects, Lutyens and Baker, set in motion the Design and construction of Delhi's eight cities - New Delhi.  Lutyens designed an "Imperial City" having palatial-sized buildings set amid broad tree-lined avenues punctuated by Mughal style gardens, complete with fountains and shallow pools. It took 20 years to complete this immense undertaking only to have the British pack up and relinquish the subcontinent in 1947. You - Humayun's Tomb. Your drive takes you along the ceremonial avenue, past the imposing India Gate and Parliament House. Remainder of the day is free for own activities or you can choose the Add on experiences. JODHPUR | HISTORY UNFOLDS AT THE MEHRANGARH FORT

Today Fly to Jodhpur and transfer to your hotel, Jodhpur – the Great Indian Desert, sites on sand stone hill surrounded by a strong wall, approximately 6 miles long with 7 entry gates and the largest city of Rajasthan after Jaipur, also called the "blue city" because of the many blue houses that can be seen from the ramparts of the fort. Originally this color was reserved for Brahmins. The reputation of horsemen emeritus of the princes of the city was such that they gave the name to the famous pants "jodhpur".

Afternoon visit to Meharangarh Fort, built in 1459. Dominating the city and perched on a hill at 125 meters above sea level, it is the most impressive citadel of Rajasthan that you reach by a long winding road. You will be able to admire the apartments of the palaces which shelter a marvelous collection of royal rooms as well as the terrace with the cannons from where you will have a splendid view on the city, drive through the old city and past the Clock Tower near the largest spice bazaar in the sub-continent. Stop at visit the Jaswant Thada Cenotaph, the royal cremation site and then proceed to see the most magnificent, modern 20th century Palace. Evening at leisure perhaps enjoying the in-house spa facilities

JODHPUR | FROM THE “BLUE CITY” TO TRIBAL INDIA

After breakfast explore Bishnoi village, you will meet the Bishnoi people, protector of nature and experience rural Rajasthan’s legendary history and customs. Witness a traditional medicinal ceremony; visit with a family of potters as they demonstrate their craft; and see the phenomenal pattern work created by local weavers of traditional rugs. Bishnoi Village - A memorable outing in visit various traditional villages seeing local handicrafts viz. stone makers, pottery, hand weaving and also men in their traditional attire, women clad with ancestral silver Jewellery, etc. Back to hotel afternoon at leisure. After breakfast drive across the Aravalli Hills, one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world, passing age-old farms and vibrantly clothed locals, en route to Udaipur. Stop in en route visit to the Jain temples of Ranakpur, located in a valley of the Aravali range. Stop at Ranakpur temples of the Jains, built in the 15th century in the lovely valley of Aravalis. It has grand structure & beautiful Sculptures. The 1444 pillars in the temple are different from each other. The magic of light & shade is really awe-inspiring. It is one of the most remarkable complexes of Jain temples in India. Wherever your eyes rest, you will see only white marble stone lace. It is more of a work of goldsmith than stonemason so much the sculpture is finely chiseled. lunch under a banyan tree at Mountbatten Lodge, a luxurious oasis set among the rolling hills. Today Sightseeing of Udaipur includes The City Palace – this is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, construction of which was started by Udai Singh. This white marble architectural marvel, standing majestically on a hill is surrounded by crenellated walls. This huge edifice 30.4 meters high and 244 meters long was added on to, by later rulers, but the additions are so well planned and integrated, Visit to Sahelion-ki-Bari or “Garden of the Maids of Honour” was laid out for a group of forty-eight young women attendants who accompanied a princess to Udaipur as part of dowry.

Visit the Jagdish temple vishnuite built by Maharana Jagat Singh I in 1651 the temple enshrines a black stone image of Lard Vishnu. There is a brass image of Garuda the Lord Bird carrier. The exterior and the plinth are covered with base relief of alligators; elephants, horsemen and celestial musicians rise in tiers. Chanting, bells and music can be heard throughout the day. It is the largest and most splendid temple of Udaipur Introduction to a few traditional recipes in a family. After breakfast short drive to Delwara and the temple complex of Eklingji and Nagda  - A Religious complex Northern region of Mewar 22 Km It houses 108 temples chiselled out of sandstone and marble, this temple of Eklingji was built in 734 AD. Enclosed by high walls, it is devoted to Eklingji (A form of Shiv Deity adored under the epithet of EKLINGA). Return to Udaipur for lunch at a specialty fine-dining restaurant before returning to the hotel to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay

After early breakfast at the hotel. AGRA | THE AWE-INSPIRING TAJ MAHAL

After breakfast proceed to Agra through the Rajasthani countryside, we see villages, woman dressed in the brilliantly colored saris of the region, Camels, Elephants & scenes of rural lives. Later visit to Magnificent Taj Mahal – The New 7 wonder of the world and Monument of Love to watch the fading light bathe it in a warm orange glow at Sunset which was built in 1630 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631, and is believed to have taken 18 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen working around the clock.
