Day By Day Itinerary

Day 01   Arrive Delhi
Arrive Indira Gandhi International Airport, meet & greet with Traditional Indian welcome. Transfer to hotel. Delhi stands as the capital of Modern India. Here you can see the mingling of the Old and New India, the ancient and the modern.  Very few cities in the world can express such a profusion of architectural styles.

Day 02 New & Old Delhi Tour
Visit to Old Delhi start the day with a Cycle Rickshaw Puller Ride through Old Delhi. Here you will view Red Fort, the most Opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire. Also visit Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi.

New Delhi was designed an "Imperial City" having palatial-sized buildings set amid broad tree-lined avenues punctuated by Mughal style gardens, complete with fountains and shallow pools. Visit to Qutub Minar, drive pass through the Raisina Hill, past the imposing India Gate, Government Buildings, President House and Parliament House. Day 03 Delhi – Mandawa 260 kms / 4 .30 hrs
Today drive to (Shekhawati) Mandawa - The region lies the triangular area between Delhi, Jaipur and Bikaner and includes Jhunjhuniun, Sikar and Churu districts of Rajasthan On the way stop at unprecedented Narnaul, you visit the tomb of Ibrahim Khan Sur, Pashtun fine example of architecture, and the pretty Jal Mahal Palace upon arrival check in to Hotel.

Afternoon visit the Mandawa -Shekhawati The semi-desert region of Shekhawati is popularly known as the 'open-air art gallery' of Rajasthan. Shekhawati is unique as no-where else in the world there is such a hundreds of Haveli’s, temples, cenotaphs, wells and forts. Later visit to Havelies in Mandawa notably the Chokhani Saraf & Ladia Havelies, also visit Temples. See the extraordinary frescoes on the walls of the houses and medieval painting of Shekhawati. Day 04 Shekhawati – Khandela 82 Kms / 1 hrs
After breakfast visit to Dundlod, then Nawalgarh, discovering new splendid Havelis and cenotaphs, Continue to Khandela for a night in the small palace of the village. Walk through the streets of the town, its bustling bazaar, craftsmen (potters, bracelets "bangles"), its school and its superb frescoes, its Shiva temple. Everywhere you encounter huge smile and welcoming residents unaccustomed to visitors. Jeep ride to a farm and its 'baoli' or wells degree, where you take tea. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05 Khandela – Jaipur 94 Kms / 1.30 hrs
Morning drive to Jaipur, once the capital of Rajasthan province, "the abode of rajahs" Everywhere you will see the monuments of its Rajput rulers. It has the distinction of being a well-planned and laid out city. As you drive through the old part of town, you will witness a life most unlike others. Witness how the city blooms during the day in a kaleidoscope of color and sound. Day 06 In Jaipur
Morning visit the 17th century fortress of Amber Fort - marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. Go up the fort ascended on Caparisoned Elephant true to the style of the Maharajas of the past. The interiors of the fort have various royal halls decorated with intricate ivory, mirror and glasswork complemented by exquisite wall paintings. Later you can take Tri Rickshaw to explore bazar. Day 07 Jaipur –Agra 232 kms / 5 hrs
On today’s drive through the Rajasthani countryside we see villages, woman dressed in the brilliantly colored saris of the region, Camels, Elephants & scenes of rural lives. En route visit to Ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri the deserted red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital. Ponder the mysterious desertion of this capital city that was dramatically abandoned a few years after it was built. It was a veritable fairy tale city and its 'ruins' are still in a pristine condition. It is not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of its grandeur of Shah Jehan, mastermind of the unforgettable Taj Mahal.  As you drive through the city witness the local life, Shopping and bazaars (markets) and the hustle bustle of everyday India. Day 08 Agra – Dholpur 55 Kms/ 1 hrs
Morning take Horse cart (Tonga Ride) to the Magnificent Taj Mahal – The New 7 wonder of the world and Monument of Love in the warm glow of Sunrise, which was built in 1630 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631, and is believed to have taken 18 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen working around the clock. The design and construction is said to be that of the legendary architect, Ustad Ahamad Lahori.  Legend has it that once construction was completed, what makes the Taj Mahal unique is its perfect proportions, distinct femininity, medium of construction and ornamentation.  Its marble exterior reflects rose and golden tints at sunrise and sunset, while it is dazzling white during the day. It is impossible to visualize the Taj Mahal in any surrounding others than its paradoxical garden. Paradise, in Islam, is visualized as a lush garden where running streams flow. When the Mughal brought this concept to India they elevated it to heights of Incomparable artistry.

Day 09 Dholpur – Gwalior – Orchha 200 kms /4 hrs
After breakfast drive to Gwalior visit to Gwalior fort - Sas Bahu Temple, Karan Mahal, Gujri Mahal, Tan Sen Tomb & Jai Vilas Palace. Continue to Ghost town Orchha (4 hours), "jewel of Madhya Pradesh", the ancient capital of a Rajput kingdom and romantic medieval town on the banks of the Betwa. The Laxmi Narayan Temple, famous for its frescoes and mural paintings, you attend evening prayers. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10 Orchha – Khajuraho 175 kms / 4 hrs
Morning visit the Jehangir Mahal palace of impressive dimensions and Raj Mahal containing very beautiful miniatures. Later drive to Khajuraho (4h). On the way, stop at Dhubela museum that exhibits beautiful collections and Bundela Chandela dynasty. Day 11 In Khajuraho -Panna – Raneh Fall
After breakfast visit to renowned Khajuraho group of temples dedicated to God and goddesses from Hindu mythology, Visit the world famous Chandela temples where forthright sculptures celebrate the Joy of life and love for which there is no equivalent in the world.
Afternoon safari in Panna National Park, where you will try to see the famous Nilgaut antelopes, gavials and with a little luck, leopards. Nearby, the impressive Raneh Falls formed steep gorgeous gorges. Return to Khajuraho Overnight stay

Day 12 Khajuraho – Varanasi Fly
Afternoon flight for toBanaras - is one of the oldest cities in the world. Also known as Banaras, this city has been the center of the Hindu faith for all of recorded history. Day 13 In Varanasi
