In the morning leave by Motor Launch & travel across the Harbour to the world famous Elephanta Caves: a UNESCO World Heritage site 9 km by sea from Gateway of India. From Gateway of India regular ferry service are available. A ferry ride across the harbor takes you to Gharapuri the local name for Elephanta. Almost at its center the island rises into two conical hillocks. The island stone elephant was found when they landed there in the 16th century. These eight-century rock-cut caves were hewn out of the hills and sculpted intricately. Three avenues made from four rows of massive columns cut into the main rock lead to the 18-ft high imposing structure of Maheshmurti- depicting Shiva as the creator, destroyer & Preserver. Today fly to Jodhpur – the Great Indian Desert, sites on sand stone hill surrounded by a strong wall, approximately 6 miles long with 7 entry gates.
Afternoon  sightseeing of the city includes visit to Meharangarh Fort, drive through the old city and past the Clock Tower near the largest spice bazaar in the sub-continent, visit the Jaswant Thada Cenotaph, the royal cremation site and then proceed to see the most magnificent, modern 20th century Palace, the Umaid Bhavan Palace and its museum – a treasure trove.

UDAIPUR | ROMANTIC LAKE CITY

After breakfast countryside drive to Udaipur – Romantic city of lakes en-route visit to Ranakpur temples of the Jains, built in the 15th century in the lovely valley of Aravallis. It has grand structure & beautiful Sculptures. An enormous basement covers 48,000 sq. feet area. There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty-four pillared halls and eligibly domes supported by over four hundred columns. The total number of columns is 1,444 all of which are intricately carved no two being alike. The artistically carved nymphs playing the flute in various dance postures at a height of 45 feet are an engrossing sight. Today sightseeing of Udaipur includes The City Palace, drive around Fateh Sagar Lake, Sahelion-ki-Bari (The fountain and flowered garden of Maidens), and Partap Smarak: A memorial to the legendary warrior Rana Pratap, also visit to Jagdish temple- built in 1651 AD.
Afternoon short drive to Delwara and the temple complex of Eklingji and Nagda  - A Religious complex Northern region of Mewar 22 Km It houses 108 temples chiselled out of sandstone and marble, this temple of Eklingji was built in 734 AD. Enclosed by high walls, it is devoted to Eklingji (A form of Shiv Deity adored under the epithet of EKLINGA). After breakfast drive to Bundi En route visit to Chittorgarh and visit to The Fort  - standing tall over a 180 meter high hillock and sprawling over 700 acres, the fort is a standing edifice to the valour of Chittorgarh, Vijay Stambh or Victory Tower – Built by Rana Kumbha in 1440 AD to commemorate his victory over the combined forces of the kings of neighboring Malwa and Gujrat, this tower is 120 feet high and has a girth of 30 feet at the base, Kirti Stambh – Built in the 12th century, it was dedicated to Lord Sri Adinath Rishabdeo, the first Jain Tirthankara. Bundi Utsav starting with Shobha Yatra is like seeking blessings from God for happiness and prosperity of people. Women float Diyas in River, with prayer and chants, it conveys the removal of darkness and victory of lights. Hence we can say that along with fun activities, you can also  learn about Rajasthan  rituals. It is also known as the Deepdan ceremony. Bundi Utsav includes several spiritual and traditional activities. It is a remarkable cluster of traditional art, culture and craftsmanship and visitors are left charmed by its magnificence. The program includes a colorful Shobha Yatra, arts & crafts fair, ethnic sports, cultural exhibition, classical music & dance program, turban competitions, bridal clothing, musical band competitions, and a sparkling fireworks display. Early in the morning, after the full moon night of Kartik Purnima, women and men clad in attractive colorful costumes light diyas or lamps on the banks of River Chambal and seek blessings.

RANTHAMBORE | TRACKING TIGER

After breakfast drive 150 kms/2.30 hrs to Ranthambore National Park provides a unique experience of life in the outdoors. Spread over 392 sq. km., the Park comprises dry deciduous forests sprawling over an undulating terrain of the Aravalis and Vindhyan ranges. Exotic wildlife abounds and thrills the nature and wildlife lover. Ranthambore Sanctuary has a large number of Tigers, Leopards, Caracals, Jungle Casts, Sambhar, Chital, Nilgai, Chinkara, Langoor, Wild Boars, Peafowl, etc. Three beautiful and artificial lakes i.e., Padam Talab, Rajbagh and Milak Talab & many anicuts are part of this Park inviting many migratory birds like Greyleg, Ruddy Shelduck, Pintails and many others. Afternoon 3 hrs Jeep/Canter drive for Game viewing deep into the Jungle to see the Tiger and Leopard, the main predators found in this reserve. Hyena & Jakal are the Scavengers. Early morning takes Horse cart (Tonga Ride) both way enjoy the Magnificent Taj Mahal – The New 7 wonder of the world and Monument of Love in the warm glow of Sunrise, which was built in 1630 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631, and is believed to have taken 18 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen working around the clock. The design and construction is said to be that of the legendary architect, Ustad Ahamad Lahori.  Legend has it that once construction was completed, what makes the Taj Mahal unique is its perfect proportions, distinct femininity, medium of construction and ornamentation.  Its marble exterior reflects rose and golden tints at sunrise and sunset, while it is dazzling white during the day. It is impossible to visualize the Taj Mahal in any surrounding others than its paradoxical garden. Paradise, in Islam, is visualized as a lush garden where running streams flow. When the Mughal brought this concept to India they elevated it to heights of Incomparable artistry.

After breakfast drive to Lutyen’s Architecture city Delhi through express highway takes 3.30 hrs around 200 kms. Delhi stands as the capital of Modern India. Here you can see the mingling of the Old and New India, the ancient and the modern.  Delhi is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to 20th centuries. Delhi has seen the rise and fall of many emperors, which have left behind a plethora of monuments that commemorate the grandeur and glory of bygone ages. Very few cities in the world can express such a profusion of architectural styles check in hotel.

Afternoon visit to New Delhi was designed and built by the British in the 1920's-it's a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green parks and gardens. In 1911 King George V announced the transfer of the capital from Calcutta to Delhi. The King's architects, Lutyens and Baker, set in motion the Design and construction of Delhi's eight cities - New Delhi.  Lutyens designed an "Imperial City" having palatial-sized buildings set amid broad tree-lined avenues punctuated by Mughal style gardens, complete with fountains and shallow pools. It took 20 years to complete this immense undertaking only to have the British pack up and relinquish the subcontinent in 1947. Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in 1650 switched the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi.  Shah Jehan possessing an exquisite talent, especially in architecture, created the seventh city and in the process brought about Delhi's glorious renaissance.  Here you will see Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire. The fort is Shah Jehan's symbol of power and elegance, built behind red sandstone walls. Its main gate (Lahore Gate) faces Chandni Chowk, the perpetually congested avenue heading west from the Red Fort, is filled with twisting lanes, small streets and crowded bazaars. If you peer through a portico you may see a man getting shaved, silver being weighed, or any other conceivable form of intense commerce.

Guru Hari Krishan distributed sanctified water from a tank in the palace to cure the sick, believing it had miraculous healing powers, and worshippers still come to collect water from these pools. The temple’s massive kitchens prepare free meals for thousands of residents and visitors of all faiths, every day.
