Here is nature friendly off-beat, authentic offer deeply rooted in traditional desert life. Resort Rawla situated in 33 Acre (87 Bigha) land. The resort is located in the flat country and is surrounded by horse-shoes shape formation of golden sand dunes. Rawla has ethnic village concept, non-touristic, undisturbed, hassle free atmosphere.
There is no electricity. We spend the night using moonlight or the glow from the star, clean sky provides enough. Though lanterns/candle /solar lights are in service. Generator only used during evening & early morning check in & check out time respectively.
Look out from any corner of the Resort Rawla; your eyes will hit the adjoining sand dunes dotted with sparce vegetation. You are inspired to roll up: sand-wide span of desert over the slopes on the other side. Sunrise and sunset over the dunes is the specialty at Resort Rawla.
The Resort Rawla has own Rawla Sand Dunes area. Here all special Arabian Night Theme Dinner with barbecue, campfire, cultural programs etc arranged for groups, for conference delegates & student groups.

Huts - Traditional Rural Cottages
25 Swiss tents and 10 huts.
There is ten huts, each look like a typical desert hut, circular and cylindrical in shape with conical thatch roof on top. That is what you see in the interior of the desert villages. Inside are two beds with cotton cushion, mattresses, bed covers, pillows and cotton-quilts
The interior is inspiring with folk are motifs and embroidered tapestry on circular walls. There are tiny windows to look out and receive fresh air. And fresh air always comes through the thatch roof. The huts are made of local clay and lime with a plaster of organic material – the ultimate in nature-friendly living! Each hut is a separate entity in the resort.
Swiss Tents
Ten Swiss tents with space of 14x14 feet, 7x14 verandah and attached stone constructed 7x7 feet bathroom & Fifteen Swiss tents with 12x12 feet room and 6x12 attached bathroom and open verandah with running hot & cold water. Each tent has dressing table chairs and center table, two coirfom mattresses with beds neat and clean bed sheets, pillows and quilts
Safari Tents
We also have safari tents which can pitched on demand. In safari tent-ground coirfom mattress, neat & clean bed sheets, pillow and quilts.
Common toilets are available at resort. If Tent are pitched outside the campus than separate common tented toilet are pitched nearby.
Water
Swiss tents & Huts have running hot and cold tap water facility (hot water provided in particular time in early morning and evening). Huts have common toilet.
RESTAURANT
The Resort has separate Dining Hall where traditional Rajasthani Cuisines are served
Authentic Cuisines
The Resort Rawla serves authentic Rajasthani Cuisines: bread of wheat or millet with or without butter, dal (Lintel), green vegetables, ‘Gatta’ (based on gram flour), ‘Sangri’ (fruits of Prosopis cineraria, the State Tree of Rajasthan), mixed with ‘Kair’ (a wild fruit of the desert), potato (boiled or fried with cumin and gravy), rice (boiled or fried) are sheer examples. Soup (of lintel, sweet corn or tomato) as the starter with papad, and tea/ coffee towards the end with indigenous sweets (Rasgullas) is as per taste. A non-vegetarian dish is equally possible, in traditional Rajasthani ‘sula’ style or fried in gravy continental and Chinese dished are as per choice.
Dinner is laid out over tables with chairs. Buffet is at demand. Star-gazing is of delight at night.
Mineral water is in stock for you. Alcohol needs to be brought along with by guest.

ATTRACTIONS
The flora and fauna of Thar Desert is of unique ecological significance. About 80 species of birds have been recorded in this region: Larks, Pipits, Wheatears, Mynas, Green Beaters, Indian Coursers, Rewetted Lapwings, Gray Partridges, Sand grouses, Hourbaras, Great Indian Bustards, Eagles, Hawks, Kestrels, Falcons being the prominent
Indian Gazelles, Hare, Desert Fox, Desert Cat, Gribbles, Rodents, Spiny-tailed Lizard etc are common to observe.
Grasses of great nutritional variety are dotting the local scene and attract herds of sheep and camels to browse nearby are a few water bodies where migratory birds are spotted during the winter season. India’s only one, the Desert National Park, is at a walking distance from the resort Rawla.
Camel Safari near Rawla Resort
Camel Safari can be organized for one or more nights. If guest don’t want to do continue camel safari in this case we offer them to stay at base camp Resort Rawla and enjoy camel ride as per their choice, camel is at their disposal. They can ride camel before lunch 3-4 hours and after lunch 2-3 hours or full – day with pack lunch and return to Resort Rawla before sunset. This safari can be extended for next day & next night with second night at Rawla or at different place. Camel track is every time different.
Safari Route/ itinerary: Can be prepared as per choice of the Guest / Agent with one or more night stay.

Resort Rawla staying guest and guest availing the day return packages have common venue for evening entertainment and dinner. If group/ guest want to enjoy separate cultural programmed and dinner then rate will be quoted separately.

Camel Safari Itinerary
Camel safari around Jaisalmer can be organized from one night to many nights. Itinerary of camel safari also prepared as per guest choice.
A FULL DAY CAMEL SAFARI
Guest pick up from hotel after breakfast and drive to camel point. Camel safari start around 9 – 10 A.M from camel point. Before lunch guest visit one Muslim Dhani – means a group of family leaving near their agricultural field and whole time stay there and visit artist – folk musician family houses. Lunch at resort. Resort itself have ethnic village concept. After Lunch one Hindu village Jamra and see sunset from Fort Khabha is one of the main ruined village of cast Paliwal Brahmins. Presently few houses of Hindu Rajput cast reoccupied the houses and most of the houses are still ruined.
Note : Safari track is semi desert area.
(B) 01 NIGHT/ 02 DAYS CAMEL SAFARI
Day first
Before lunch 9-10km ride and around 3-4hrs camel ride. On the way you pass. Through Muslim Dhani lunch near Kanoi village. After lunch break camel safari Start and visit artist family house(local folk musician house) you can see their
Garment wearing. They are Muslim but wearing is Hindu. After visiting artist house
Camel safari start and reaches at Resort Rawla for overnight and sunset. fter lunch 78km camel ride and for overnight stay Tented accommodation & Traditional cottage ( as per availability)
Day second
Camel safari start after breakfast and lunch near muslim dhani and Enroute visit Jamara Rajput cast village. See sunset from Khabha fort. Khabha is Paliwal cast ruined village and after sunset
drive to hotel (45 minute drive) This can be extended for overnight near Khabha or at base camp Resort Rawla.If overnight at base camp Resort Rawla than guest will be pick up by Jeep or Car for drive to Rawla and third day after breakfast drive for next destination.
