Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Today Arrive Delhi, The Capital of India. You are greeted with a traditional Indian Welcome and escorted transfer to Hotel.
Day 02 New & Old Delhi
After breakfast at hotel visit to Old Delhi here you will see Red Fort, Also visit Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi; Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. New Delhi You will visit two monuments from Delhi's past & known as two of the 26 World Heritage sites of India - Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar and also visit Lotus Temple. Your drive takes you along the ceremonial avenue, past the imposing India Gate and Parliament House. Overnight stay
Evening return to the Red Fort to watch the “Son et Lumire” show which is an Interplay of colorful lights and sound tracing the history of monument till date.
Day 03 Delhi - Varanasi
After leisurely morning fly to Varanasi. Later return excursion to Sarnath – 10 kms from the holy city of Varanasi, is the blessed locale where more than 2,500 years ago Buddha chose to deliver his first sermon, after attaining Nirvana. Evening See “aarti” Ceremony on the River Ganges
Day 04 Varanasi Boat Cruise - Khajuraho
Enjoy the sunrise Boat excursion on the Holy River Ganges to see the bathing Ghats and crimination sites. Watching people bathing and worshiping at the Ghats is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India.
Later fly to Khajuraho - the temples of Khajuraho represent some of the most exquisite specimens of Hindu architecture and sculpture in medieval India. Built between 950 AD and 1050 Ad, only 22 temples out of 85 now survice. A thousand years ago, the robust Chandelas of the warrior Rajput clan lived and loved here, fought and triumphed and having reached the peak of their power, built temples to their gods with all the religious fervor of a virile race.
Day 05 Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh National Park 240 Kms / 5 hrs
Morning visit western Group of Temples includes the Javeri temple dedicated to Vishnu. View the world famous Chandela temples where forthright sculptures celebrate the Joy of life and love for which there is no equivalent in the world. Later proceed to Bandhavgarh National Park – famous for white tiger.
Day 06 Bandhavgarh National Park
Early Morning & Afternoon Enjoy Game Viewing deep into the Jungle by Jeep / Elephant back along with Forest Guide. There are more than 22 species of mammals and 200 species of birds. Some of the inhabitants of this park are the rhesus macaque, the black-faced langur, jungle cats, chinkara, black buck and the chital. The park attracts many migratory birds in the winter months include the steppe eagle and a variety of water birds. Reptilian fauna includes cobra, krait, python, turtle and a variety of lizards. Many of the animals are by now accustomed; even so, it is best to talk quietly & not to make rapid movements. The best ideal time to visit Bandhavgarh is the November-June period. There are more than 22 species of mammals and 200 species of birds.
Day 07 Bandhavgarh National Park / Pench 392 kms / 7 hrs
Early Morning Enjoy Game Viewing deep into the Jungle. Later drive to Pench - The Pench National Park on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra has been known through the ages for its rich flora and fauna. Named after the river that flows nearby, Pench was declared a Wildlife Sanctuary in 1983, though it had been declared a notified area in 1972. This park is the 25th Tiger Reserve in the country and takes pride in its tigers and other wildlife. The total area under the Pench Tiger Reserve comes to about 758-km, out of which a core area of 299-sq-km is the National Park and 464-km the buffer area. Afternoon enjoy game viewing at Pench National Park.
Day 08 Pench
Early Morning & Afternoon Enjoy Game Viewing deep into the Jungle. The forest area of Pench National Park is redolent with tropical dry deciduous teak and interspersed with bamboo trees and other species of shrubs. The 'Kullu tree' (a species of gum tree) in Pench is a highlight, and visitors are often mesmerized by its almost white bark and spread out branches that are a startling contrast to the lush greenery around. In addition there are many rare varieties of herbs and grasses in this region -many of them of medicinal use. Fauna-wise, a number of endangered species have made it their habitat including the Indian wild dog, the wild pig, nilgai, chital, muntjac, gaur, the four-horned antelope and of course tigers. The tiger population in pench is one of the hightest - 55, in number. The park is also rich in bird life with over 200 species like barbets, bulbuls, minivets, orioles, wagtails, munias, mynas, waterfowls, and blue kingfishers. The Pench River and water streams that weave through the area, along with nallahs and ravines provide the perfect habitat for the water birds of this region. This is also the hunting ground for crocodiles and turtles.
Day 09 Pench - Nagpur - Mumbai
Morning drive to Nagpur (78 kms) to board the connecting flight for Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai and transfer to international airport to board the flight for Onward Destination.
