Osian – Khetasar – Osian

OPTION - I

Day 01

Guests are received at the Camp Thar reception at Osian, and transferred to the Base Camp by the rugged 4 wheel drive Camp Jeeps. After lunch guests depart for safari into the desert. En route one gets to see wild life like the blue Bull, chinkara, Desert Fox, Partridge and a wide variety of other birds. Tea/Coffee is served at a small Oasis near Khetasar. Guest are then taken on the Camp Jeeps on a tour of the village. Here they get to see the village life, and potters and weavers at work. Guests arrive back to the base Camp in time to view the sunset over the desert. Later in the evening the guests are invited by the Camp Boss to an evening of folk entertainment followed by dinner. Overnight at the Base Camp.

Day 02             

After breakfast guests are transferred to Osian. They may take a tour of the temples and proceed
to onward destination.

OPTION - II

Bhikamkor-Dabri-Khetasar-Osian

Day 01
                       
Guests are received at the Camp Thar reception at Bhikamkor with packed lunch. After lunch commence safari. Evening arrive Camp at the Dabari Dunes. Dinner with Camp Fire and folk entertainment. Overnight Dabri.

Day 02             

After breakfast mount camels to contine on second days safari. For lunch, desert cuisine is served at a typical Bishnoi Dhani. After lunchvisit desrt village Khetasar to see the potters and weavers. Evening arrive at Base Camp. Tonight we have more folk entertainment followed by dinner. Overnight at Base Camp.

Day 03

After breakfast guests are transferred to Osian to proceed at onward destination after the temple tour. 

OPTION – III

Osian-Khetasar-Dabri-Nathrau

Day 01  

Guests are received at the Camp Thar reception at Osian from where they are transferred to the Base Camp. Evening free to explore or do short camel rides to get accustomed to the Camels. Over dinner your camp Boss will give a briefing on the safari, and the do’s and dont’s over the next three days. Overnight at the Base Camp

Day 02             

After breakfast, mount camels at commence safari to reach the Dabri Dunes. En route visit village Khetasar. Lunch is served by an Oasis. After an early dinner guests retire for the night. Overnight at the Dabri Camp.

Day 03             

After breakfast commence safari to Nathrau. En route we stop for lunch served under canvas. Arrive Nathrau by early evening. After a good shower get set for a Gala Evening of Dining and Dancing – for this is the last night on the safari. Overnight Nathrau.

Day 04             

After a leisurely breakfast proceed to onward destination.

• Itineraries I & II are designed for guests arriving from Jodhpur, Khimsar, Nagaur, Bikaner or Jaisalmer. Itinerary III is not designed for guests arriving from Jaisalmer. If guests are arriving from Jaisalmer the same itinerary can be done the other way round, the safari ending at the Base Camp Near Osian.

• These safaris have been very carefully planned keeping in view the safety and comfort of the guests.

• All tents on the safaris are provided with attached toilets with running water and showers.

• All safaris are escorted by a competent and trained member of the Camp, who is experienced in handling emergencies.

• First aid box and a sufficient amount of mineral water is carried on all safaris.

• For larger groups in itinerary III cushioned camel carts also accompany the safari, so that if required guests can get off the camel and stretch out for a short while.
