Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Welcome by presentable representative of Recreation Travels with Special welcome & Transfer to hotel.
Overnight stay.
Day 02 New / Old Delhi
Delhi stands as the capital of Modern India. Here you can see the mingling of the Old and New India, the ancient and the modern. Very few cities in the world can express such a profusion of architectural styles.
Later visit to New Delhi - Lateens designed an "Imperial City" having palatial-sized buildings set amid broad tree-lined avenues punctuated by Mughal style gardens, complete with fountains and shallow pools. Visit two monuments from Delhi's past - Humayun’s Tomb and Qutab Minar, Drive pass through the Raisina Hill, past the imposing India Gate, President House and Parliament House. Old Delhi - Here you will view Red Fort, the most Opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire. Also visit Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi; Jama Masjid, the Largest mosque in India.
Evening return to the Red Fort to watch the “Son et Lumire” show which is an Interplay of colorful lights and
sound tracing the history of monument till date
Day 03 Delhi – Neemrana 122 kms/ 2-½ hrs
After breakfast drive to Neemrana - Built since 1464 AD, Neemrana Fort-Palace is among India's oldest
heritage resorts. Neemrana became the third capital of the descendants of Prithviraj Chauhan III, who was
killed in battle by Mohammad Ghori in 1192 AD. This picturesque site was chosen by Raja Rajdeo and
Neemrana derived its name from a brave local chieftain Nimola Meo, who when defeated by the Chechens,
Pleaded that his name be given to his lost kingdom.
It is Rajasthan's closest palace from New Delhi, situated at 122 kms. on the Delhi-Jaipur highway Sited on a
majestic plateau, concealed in a horseshoe formation of the billion year old Aravallis ranges. Overnight stay.
Day 04 Neemrana – Samode Village 185 kms 3-½ hrs
After breakfast drive to Samode - built in stages starting 400 years ago, the Palace was converted in to a
Heritage Hotel by the Samode Family. The Ornate interiors are a fine example of the Rajput-Mughal Haveli
Architecture. Samode, ancient royal retreat, notable for its Wall Paintings and Glass work in the Grand Durbar
Hall. Overnight stay.
Day 05 Samode Village – Dundold 220 kms / 4 hrs
After breakfast drive to Dundlod – a tiny town against picturesque surroundings offers an interesting stop
over. It has a rugged fort and a palace now run as a heritage hotel. Havelis of the Goenka family ornate with
fine frescoes are a visual delight. Kila of Dundold the 17th century Rajputana Fort studded with monumental
Nostalgia of Shekhawati, the warrior Rajputs who with stood the onslaught of Mughal hordes. Since then the
cultural heritage of splendid Rajasthan is preserved as its ethos are imbibed in architectural grandeur of the
Dundlod Fort. The silent ripples of the golden sand dunes, which besiege the Kila lures, and enchants tourists
and villagers as well.
The Fort of Dundlod is an embodiment of cultural amalgamation of Rajputana and Mughal School of Art and
Architecture. Its motif of flowers and foliage, minarets, mythological paintings, archaic furniture, wall hangings
of arrows and shields have remained unchanged since hoary past. Here commercialism of artificial world
could not slip in. Staying in Dundlod Fort is almost like living through the days of James Tod who described
the splendors of Rajasthan. On every dawn the first ray of the sun befalls over the fort as an eternal bliss to
the land of mystique and charisma. Overnight stay.
Day 06 Dundlod – Khimsar 296 kms / 6 hrs
After breakfast drive to Khimsar – perched on the edge of the great thar desert in the heart of rural India. It
offers a wide range of experiences. The battle-scarred walls and turrets remind you of its glorious past as a
center of much warfare, as well as commerce and trade. The initial construction began in 1523, but the family
moved in during the 18th century when a new ‘zanana’ (ladies wing) was constructed. Thakur Onkar Singh
built a regal wing for himself in the 1940s. Today, the Khimsar Fort ranks high among the premier classified
heritage hotels of India. Overnight stay.
Day 07 Khimsar – Jodhpur 90 kms / 3-½ hrs
Morning drive to Jodhpur. Jodhpur – the Great Indian Desert, sites on sand stone hill surrounded by a
strong wall, approximately 6 miles long with 7 entry gates. Upon arrival check in hotel. Half day sightseeing of
the city includes visit to Meherangarh Fort, drive through the old city and past the Clock Tower near the
largest spice bazaar in the sub-continent, visit the Jaswant Thada Cenotaph, the royal cremation site and
then proceed to see the most magnificent, modern 20th century Palace, the Umaid Bhavan Palace and its museum – a treasure trove.
Village Safari (By Jeep)- A memorable outing in Jeeps visit various traditional villages seeing local
handicrafts viz. stone makers, pottery, hand weaving and also men in their traditional attire, women clad with
ancestral silver jewellery, etc. Overnight stay.
Day 08 Jodhpur – Sardarsamand 60 kms /1 hrs
Morning drive to Sardarsamand - a hunting lodge built by H.H. Maharaja Umaid Singh in 1933, is replete with
impressive art deco architecture. All the original features have been retained and expansive grounds and
gardens of hotel Sardar Samand Palace offer delightful walks. Overlooking the large lake teeming with
Birdlife, the lake resort affords one of the most breathtakingly beautiful views of Lake Sardar Samand. An
Ideal place to unwind.
Bishnoi Village Safari (By Jeep)- A memorable outing in Jeeps visit various traditional villages seeing local
handicrafts viz. stone makers, pottery, hand weaving and also men in their traditional attire, women clad with
ancestral silver jewellery, etc.
Day 09 Sardarsamand – Udaipur 215 kms / 4 -½ hrs
After breakfast leave for Udaipur. Enroute visit to Ranakpur temples of the Jains, built in the 15th century in
the lovely valley of Aravallis. It has grand structure & beautiful Sculptures. The 1444 pillars in the temple are
different from each other. The magic of light & shade is really awe- inspiring. Later proceed to Udaipur. Upon
arrival check in Hotel. Afternoon is free to explore colorful Bazar & Shopping. Over night stay.
Day 10 Udaipur
Today sight seeing of Udaipur includes The City Palace, drive around Fateh Sagar lake, Sahelion-ki-Bari
(The fountained and flowered garden of Maidens), Partap Smarak: A memorial to the legendary warrior Rana
Pratap, Bhartiya Lok Mandal Museum. Remainder of the day is at leisure. Evening Boat Cruise at Lake
Pichola. Overnight stay.
Day 11 Udaipur - Dungarpur 120 kms / 2 hrs
After breakfast drive to Dungarpur – the diversity of nature unfolds in this hill town situated at the foothills of
the Aravalis. Dungarpur was founded in 1282 A. D. by Rawal Veer Singh. The region offers varied flora and
fauna and an interesting topography, ranging from wild and rugged terrain in the North-East to fertile alluvial
plains in the South-West. Complementing the scenic landscapes are the magnificent rivers-Mahi and Som.
While the former separates the district from banswara, the latter draws a natural boundary between the
district and daipur. The town is a visual delight during monsoons. Besides its rich natural wealth, Dungarpur
boasts of a unique style of architecture as seen in the old palaces and noble residences. Also famous are
lacquer painted toys and picture frames. Late visit to Udai Bilas Palace, Juna Mahal, Gaib Sagar Lake,
Beneshwar and Galiyakot. Overnight stay.
Day 12 Dungarpur – Bijaipur
After breakfast drive to Bijaipur. Arrive Bijaipur and check in hotel. Visit to Castle Bijaipur – are the
descendents of the great Rajput warrior, Shakti Singh. He was younger brother of the great Maharana Pratap
Singh, a ruler of Mewar (Udaipur Region). The Castle built in 16th century. The Castle reflects a life style of
Mewar with matching cuisine. The castle has had the privilege of playing host to thousands of tourists over
the last one decade. Castle Bijaipur have 23 traditional style lavishly furnished rooms. The suite rooms get
ample natural lights and are tastefully furnished with local material’s colour and design. One can have
glimpses of village life style and green fields from terrace. The village Bijaipur is surrounded by green hills
and the castle is situated in middle of village. The village is on the way to Bundi – Kota Road, 40 kms away
from Chittorgarh. Overnight stay.
