Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Arrive at Delhi’s International Airport, where you will be met upon arrival by our representative, who will give a traditional Indian welcome with garlands and transfer to hotel.
Day 02 Delhi – Samode 190 kms / 04 hrs
After breakfast drive to Samode, with fairy-tale palace. Samode Palace was built in the late 19th century by a kinsman (and Prime Minister) of the Maharaja of Jaipur. Its Rang Mahal ("Palace of Colors") is a little gem of ornamentation, with its gilded and painted walls and mirror-worked ceilings. Beyond this lies Sheesh Mahal, with its dazzling inlays of mirror-work and glass, and painted friezes of hunts and durbar scenes. The palace, now a romantic hotel, was used as a location for a film based on The Far Pavilions
On arrival check-in at hotel. Afternoon camel ride from Samode Palace to Samode Bagh & also visit Palace & nearby village. . Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 Samode – Jaipur 45 Kms / 01 hr
After breakfast depart for Jaipur – the land of the Rajput part, the exciting Indian trail. It is here that the seekers of India experience their fantasy of a voyage of discovery. Jaipur is an exuberance of color, dance and song with the traditional arts and crafts. Known as the 'Pink City' is one of India's most well planned cities with wide straight avenues, roads, streets and lanes in a grid system. Arrive Jaipur, check-in at hotel.
In the afternoon, we take the sightseeing tour of Jaipur City. This tour takes you to the Hawa Mahal or the "Palace of Winds", the City Palace complex with its museums and Jantar Mantar, the ancient astronomical observatory. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra 232 Kms / 05 hrs
After breakfast you make an excursion to Amber Fort. Here, enjoy Caparisoned Elephant Ride to reach the top of the Fort. The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture, a complex of palaces, temples, exquisite marble and mirror-inlaid halls and apartments.
In the afternoon, we drive to Agra & en route visit Fatehpur Sikri - It is a masterpiece of Muslim architecture unique in India. Built in red sandstone in honour of Saint Salim Chisti who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, this city is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Arrive Agra city and check-in into your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 In Agra
After Breakfast tour of the city, visiting the world famous Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort.
Agra City Tour … We begin with The Agra Fort, lying across the River Yamuna, is built in red sandstone and has magnificent palaces, halls of public and private audience and beautiful gardens. This is where Emperor Shahjehan was kept under house arrest by his third son Aurangzeb and spent the last year of his life viewing the Taj Mahal from the little octagonal tower in the Fort. Now our focus shifts to The Taj Mahal, a poem in white marble, is a fine example of the fusion of many architectural styles. Built in 1652 by Emperor Shahjehan, it took almost 22 years to build it by 20,000 skilled artisans who inlaid the white marble edifice with precious and semi precious stones.
We will remain at the Taj Mahal to enjoy its’ awesome beauty at sunset. Return to hotel for overnight.
Day 06 Agra – Delhi 200 Kms / 4-½ hrs
After leisurely Breakfast we drive to Delhi. Arrive Delhi & transfer to hotel.
Evening return to the Red Fort to watch the “Son et Lumire”show which is interplay of colorful lights and sound tracing the history of monument till date. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 In Delhi
After breakfast full day city tour of old & New Delhi. The sightseeing tour takes you to Old Delhi where you will visit the Jama Masjid & take a photo stop at Red Fort including short Rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk.
Afternoon continue visit New Delhi you will visit the Qutab Minar complex, Humayun’s Tomb and drive past the India Gate (World War I memorial) area to see the President’s House, Parliament House and other local sights. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 Depart Delhi
Say good bye to this fascinating land and transfer to International airport to board the light for back home.
