Named after one of Mewar dynasty's greatest rulers, Maharana Fateh Singh (period of reign: 1884-1935), the palace is a repository of exquisite chandeliers and rare paintings, unique crystal and crockery collections. Fateh Prakash Palace has been awarded the National Tourism Award for the best heritage hotel in 'Heritage Grand' category for 2001-2002 by the Department of Tourism, Government of India.

Durbar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace :

Steeped in history, its size and splendour are breathtaking, and its capacity makes the Durbar Hall an ideal venue for large conferences, receptions, meetings or parties. Through the decades, this majestic hall has hosted weddings, court occasions, formal durbars, state banquets, and royal parties. Its walls are covered with the portraits of the Maharajas of Mewar. The famous Crystal Gallery overlooks the Durbar Hall. Upto 120 guests for formal banquets and 300 guests for buffet style dining can be accommodated.

Sunset View Terrace, Fateh Prakash Palace :

The Sunset View Terrace, overlooking Lake Pichola and the island palaces of Jagmandir and Jagniwas caters to the dining needs of 50 to 70 guests for sit down functions and upto 200 guests for buffet style dining.

Manek Chowk, City Palace Complex :

Sit-down banquets and special dinners at the picturesque Manek Chowk (or palace grounds) can accommodate upto 200 guests for formal gatherings. Special illuminations transform Manek Chowk in the evenings into a dreamy setting for formal dinners and wedding celebrations.
